Sola Gratia Farm

Urbana, IL

Sola Gratia Farm, founded in 2012 by St. Matthew Lutheran Church, is a nonprofit urban farm committed to enhancing local food systems by providing high-quality, locally-grown produce, with a focus on serving those with limited food resources. Located in the heart of the community, the farm operates on sustainable organic practices aimed at producing nutritious fruits and vegetables while improving soil health and community wellbeing. Through its Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program, members receive fresh, seasonal produce weekly during the growing season. Additionally, Sola Gratia Farm is deeply involved in community building through volunteer opportunities, educational programs, and special events. Demonstrating a strong commitment to hunger relief, the farm donates at least 10% of its yield to local food banks, pantries, and soup kitchens, contributing over 125,000 pounds of produce since its inception.
