What This Egg Shortage Has Us Thinking About...

This whole egg situation really got us thinking—Kakadoodle isn’t just about bringing you chemical-free food. It’s about building a better food system. One that’s stronger, more resilient, and not so fragile when things like avian flu hit.

If we could dream big, ultimately what we are building is an entirely new food system that doesn’t rely on just a handful of massive industrial farms. Instead, we’d eventually support thousands of small, independent producers across the country. Farms that work with nature, not against it. That way, when one part of the system struggles, the whole thing doesn’t fall apart. It means a consistent source of clean, chemical-free food on more tables—no matter what’s going on in the world.
