article Egg Rationing & New Partnerships

As many of you know, we recently lost our flock to the bird flu. While this has been a difficult challenge, it has also accelerated our long-held goal of supporting more local egg producers through Kakadoodle. Now, more than ever, we’re embracing that ambition and working to bring you the best locally sourced eggs.
One of the egg producers we’re thrilled to partner with is Chris from Hebron Farms! 🥚🐔 Located just over the Michigan border in Vandalia, Chris runs a farm where chickens roam freely and enjoy a Non-GMO, chemical-free diet—values that align perfectly with Kakadoodle. We’ve admired his work for a long time, and we’re excited to bring his eggs to you.

Temporary Egg Rationing
As we transition to working with more farmers, it will take some time to scale up egg production. This means we will need to ration orders temporarily—you may receive fewer eggs than originally placed in your cart. But rest assured, you will only be charged for the eggs you receive (obviously!).
We truly appreciate your patience as we work to support more incredible local farmers. Your commitment to clean, chemical-free food makes a real impact—not just for your health, but for small, sustainable farms like Chris’s.
Thank you for being part of the Kakadoodle community! 💛
Warmly,
MariKate
