article Why Grass Fed Beef?
We started Kakadoodle because we believed it was important to make local pasture raised chicken eggs accessible to our community. After the cancer diagnosis, we started to pay more attention to the foods we put in our bodies and this was the best place for us to start... but it was only the beginning.
As we expand our offerings through our Kakadoodle delivery service, we intentionally select farmers who have the same philosophies as we do on our farm. We want to make sure the animals are cared for and are grazing local regenerative pastures. That's why we were so excited to add Sonas Farms (Manteno, IL) grass fed beef to Kakadoodle!
We've already learned about why pasture raised chicken eggs are better, but why was it important to find local grass fed beef?
